The water is on its way up a little bit, as Indiana Fort Wayne got a little more rain than we did, so all that water will make its way down the Maumee to our area today/tomorrow.
Still catching white bass in some pretty heavy numbers over the last few days, even though it’s been cold.
Memorial Day it’s gonna be in the mid high 70s so it ought to be a really good day of white bass fishing, fingers crossed.
Pond fishing: we’ve been hearing, and seeing reports of some nice size bluegill, and some big bass being caught in the ponds in the area and up into Michigan. Wax worms, red worms I’ve been the best bait for the pan fish. Just drop them about a foot to a foot and a half under a bobber and see what happens.
Kayakrental: hey it’s nice and sunny out today come take a kayak trip with us down to Maumee River at either one of our two locations here in Maumee and our other shop out in Grand Rapids Ohio.Only $45 for the whole day. Full service: that includes paddle ,lifejacket, kayak, transportation up river, drop in float down have a blast, will pick you up when you’re done bringing you right back to your car. Too easy.
