River on the rise again. Probably some rain and wind today. We will see what that does to the levels.

Three days of smashing those walleye . Early limits ..again.

So the water level has been dropping steadily the last four or five days after all the extra water coming in from Indiana. Now, just when we thought we were going to have some steady river levels, and maybe get out the blue glass island, it’s on the rise again . Not a big deal, that extra water brought in a nice push of fish over the last week and we have seen steady catches including a whole hell of a lot of limits.

All access areas except Bluegrass are accessible today and we saw a fish come in from all over the river. Remember that the walleye don’t just go up to Jerome Rapids and stop. Fish above the rapids for a change, not a soul was there yesterday despite waves of fresh walleye filling the river. Bendview park , which is a continuation of the Towpath and Farnsworth metro park ,are also areas with very little fishing pressure. Stop in and we can direct you to a nice peaceful area to fish.

Have fun be safe and good luck fishing.
